This loss was inflicted because we are tanking...Gortat is a vet who plays hard and can set screens and box out. He should have stayed on the roster if we were really trying for the playoffs.

Zubac had a bad game. I’m sure he’ll be much more valuable over all than freaking Gortat. That guy was often stuck in the mud. His only value was setting screams. Shamet with another good game. If we let him go, we’ll be kicking ourselves for a long time.

I don't think letting Temple go would be much of a loss. And yes Zubac will be more valuable once he grows into his body and gets some more NBA experience. Right now he is a 21 year old kid trying to go up against KAT. That just isn't a fair match. At least Gortat could put a body on him. This may be good to play our youngsters and let them develop. But what it isn't is trying to make a legitimate playoff run. Sure Doc and everybody on the roster is going to try like hell to win. But if the front office takes away key vets and leaves behind only rookies to play key positions like center then it sure isn't going to be easy to win even against bad teams. Not sure what happened with Motley last night. Why didn't he play.
