Does anyone wish they could have gotten a good starting PF with size, instead? Always

As long as LeBron is there, I will never jump ship and root for the Lakers. ... But another part-time max player, whose commitment to his various teams has been 0 ...? I'm standing on the washrail. Just so I'm not assuming anything, what are your main complaints about LeBron? I don't recall specific statements by you before, about that topic.

Just don't like his flopping, his colossal ego, and his apparent belief that no topic should be raised other than those concerning his own greatness.

I think Norm probably has more value than any of the players we traded away, but I wonder if we insisted on keeping him or if the Sixers just flat didn't want him because now it seems like we're pretty forced to trading him or Bones for a real PF. Or we could've tried to keep Batum or Roco instead.

Does anyone wish they could have gotten a good starting PF with size, instead? Always I've been intrigued by Christian Wood ever since he was on the Pelicans. I couldn't believe they waived him, without even trying to play him with rookie Zion Williamson. He has size, and rebounds. Offense is a little inconsistent. But I would have liked him on the Clippers. Easily the most balanced team he would have been on. Between the veterans on the Clippers, he would have had a good chance to play well and fit in. Maybe even still be more consistent on defense, which seems to be the knock on him. But even if that didn't happen, at least his size and rebounding would have been nice. Or, another Aaron Gordon type player would also have been good.

That’s playoff style basketball. The Nuggets were 20th in free throw rate. They won the championship. The year before that, the Warriors were 23rd in free throw rate. They won the championship. The year before that, the Bucks were 24th in free throw rate. They won the championship. Two years before that, the Raptors were 21st in free throw rate. They won the championship. The year before that, Golden State was 20th in free throw rate. They won the championship. So 5 out of the past 6 championships have been a bottom 11 team in free throw rate. The streak probably continued with those previous Warriors teams too. In addition to these stats showing that the teams that don't use the FT line, have been the teams that have been winning, there's also this subjective opinion: Players get less foul calls in the playoffs, individual games in a playoffs series not withstanding, so teams that don't rely on the FT line so much, are better off.

A few Fox Sports shows including Cowherd rated it a poor move by the Clips speculating it was done purely for "Star Power" to help fill the new arena. To me it just seems the Clippers are all-in for this year in a championship-or-bust type philosophy. One thing is for sure the "stars" will have to align, and it will be a miracle as long-suffering fans, to end the year with a Larry.

James Harden would love to end the season with women that Larry Flynt introduces him to. That's the Larry that he knows. He doesn't know much about that trophy thing.

Does anyone wish they could have gotten a good starting PF with size, instead? 100%, but I can't believe we are done. I don't want Kawaii playing PF and I sure don't want to see a lot of Tucker. So who do we have now? We need a solid PF.
I would say Bones is expendable now, but I like his potential and his youth and want him to stay. Powell is the one I would be looking at to go next. He is expendable.

True. Maybe it is "Playoff Run or Bust" and resign the core, or outsider, free agents as no first round draft picks for six years. It's a super critical season performance wise for those who want to stick around (even the coach!).

Taking a page from the Golden State playbook...

The Sixers are getting two first round picks and one swap. That is what they wanted in terms of draft capital. Not sure what you are arguing? That it is technically is coming from OKC doesn't matter. We are facilitating the Sixers getting two first round picks. I mean, "we are sending them" is what you said. We're not. That's what I am arguing. I really want to know what we are sending to OKC for them to be sending that pick. A pick swap? Removing a protection on one of our picks? It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is. - Bill Clinton

Not sure how this helps? Hyland coming into his own, Mann another year better, Powell still around..... I'm glad to see the back of Morris( bloody useless!) but am certainly bummed to see RoCo and Batum go. Those are the unsung guys that help propel teams deep into the O'Brien tournament. Not sure there are enough balls to go around for KL, PG, RW, JH....not to mention Powell, Mann, Bones. I guess given our history, 2 or more of those guys will go down at some point so probably best to have as many scorers as possible( personally, I'd prefer shooters)
