I mean, "we are sending them" is what you said. We're not. That's what I am arguing. I really want to know what we are sending to OKC for them to be sending that pick. A pick swap? Removing a protection on one of our picks? It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is. - Bill Clinton "If you take the fifth, it's because you're guilty." -Donald Trump in 2016 "I take the fifth" (450 times) - Donald Trump in 2020 "Hilary Clinton should be in jail. She threatened our national security" - Donald Trump in 2016 "The FBI planted those documents at Mar a Lago.... those boxes had lots of things in them, like shoes.....I declassifed them.....I thought they should be declassified, so they're declassified" -Donald Trump in 2022

Harden can the be the 2 guard. We are a small team. Lack of rebounding will hurt us. Who will guard AD? AGordon?
But Harden is a game changer. He will make it easier for 213.

This isn't the lineup Ty Lue will start out with, because I think Ty tries Harden and Westbrook together in the starting lineup. But I think this is the lineup we eventually settle on, unless we make another trade: PG: Harden SG : PG SF: Kawhi PF: Mann Center: Zu Backups PG: Westbrook SG: Bones SF: Powell PF: Tucker? Center: Plumlee Likely it's more of a 9-person lineup with Tucker just as a bench role player for defense on rare happenstance. Oh you think Westbrook goes to the bench? I think it'll be Mann initially, who may not end up starting before Harden arrives now. I think you actually probably need Mann next to either Bones or Norm. That being said, while this team still has decent depth, we can't be done here. We're going to be forced to go small a lot, but maybe we'll at the very least go away from any lineups that don't have Zu or Plumlee otherwise those lineups will just get crushed inside.

This roster doesn't make sense as a whole. They are going to trade Norm and/or Bones for a PF. How about someone like Jalen Smith?

I think it makes more sense to have Harden come off the bench with Bones. Westbrook and Mann start.

Not sure how this helps? Hyland coming into his own, Mann another year better, Powell still around..... I'm glad to see the back of Morris( bloody useless!) but am certainly bummed to see RoCo and Batum go. Those are the unsung guys that help propel teams deep into the O'Brien tournament. Not sure there are enough balls to go around for KL, PG, RW, JH....not to mention Powell, Mann, Bones. I guess given our history, 2 or more of those guys will go down at some point so probably best to have as many scorers as possible( personally, I'd prefer shooters) Welcome back windsoruk. Hadn't seen you in months.

Yeah but we all know what he does in the playoffs..... But for playoffs he’s won’t be the 1 or 2 option. So he’s going to be okay. Famous last words....he will be a 1 or 2 option because we all know what happens during the playoffs....somebody get hurts..Harden has been durable in the playoffs...

I thought it was interesting that the owners are the ones that hashed out the deal and that this was not the deal Morey wanted.

Sixers just as likely or even more likely to be bad by then and at least we have top 3 protection on it. 2028 is a crap shoot. If we sign all three of Harden, Kawhi and PG through that year, then even if we stink we're probably so far over the cap that we trigger the second apron and have a bottom pick anyway.
