We were that team. For many years. Nothing but sympathy from me.

But, they're still not one of the worst teams I've ever seen.

From last season's All-Star break to now, the Piston's are 4-42

Draymond Green has GOT to go! NBA loses any credibility they have left if this thug doesn’t get bounced.

Suspended indefinitely! It's a start. He will be back. Artest came back. Arenas came back. Yes he will. But this time, he will have had plenty of time to think. Think about the $150,000 - $200,000 for each game he has missed, think about the negative impact he has had on his team’s season and hopes for another ring, think about the respect he has lost from his peers and think about how he will spend the rest of his life trying to defend his legacy to the world and to his children. And I bet he will secretly be thinking about whether or not there is a path for him to redeem himself going forward. And that will be the most difficult part because it would require humility and contrition, two qualities that are in shortest supply in his character.

Lakers WITH Lebron just got blown out by Spurs, who break their 18 game losing streak.
I think V-Ice said he thought Lakers were a deep team?

Philadelphia beat Charlotte by fifty-three points. They've played a pretty weak schedule lately, but they are absolutely pounding people. Pretty impressive. That trade looks like a win win right now. Every time I see Batum's box score he's like a +30. This is the year Embiid is going to have to show up like this in the postseason. Too many years where he goes from this to putting up 10-24 shooting nights. If we were somehow able to keep Tucker and Batum out of the deal, can you imagine how dominant we'd be?

I never heard of a trade where one team gives up all of the players who play a given position and is left with zero. That's crazy.

I never heard of a trade where one team gives up all of the players who play a given position and is left with zero. That's crazy. Pretty weird how it happened. I think it must have been partially our choice. We didn't want to give up Mann and they didn't want any contracts beyond this season for guys who weren't cornerstone players. I wonder if we had the choice on whether to include Powell instead of Batum or Covington. I think we didn't since Norm's contract goes beyond this season and consensus seems to say he's overpaid, which I actually don't really agree with. He provides a clear role and a ton of other guys make similar money to him and don't match his per minute production. I do know Philly demanded for Tucker to be any Harden deal.

Knicks Mitchell Robinson, who was having a very good year, is out for the season now. Which was a surprise since he had surgery and was originally listed as out 8-10 weeks but Knicks just announced they applied for the disabled player exception, which means he now must be out for the season.
Knicks fans like Hart but they want a replacement center for sure now. And...surprisingly some of them I saw mentioned they want Mason Plumlee. Who himself is out with a knee injury but is slated to return very soon now.
Daniel Theis has been good for us. I'd say around as good as Plumlee. Maybe not quite at Plumlee's level, but close enough that we have the unexpected luxury of being in a position to consider trading Plumlee and keeping Theis as our backup center.
Our position of need remains PF. Which leaves open the question - is there a trade we'd consider with Knicks to send them Mason Plumlee?

I can't really think of too many trades with the Knicks that make sense at the moment. Randle makes zero sense for this team and is generally not the type of PF I'd like to build around anyway. Most of the other trade pieces they have are guards and we definitely don't need to add any guards. Things will be interesting for us once Plumlee comes back and what we do with him, Theis and Zu. Zu is by the far the best defender. Mason is probably better in a vacuum than Theis, but the 3 ball Theis brings is pretty valuable for us. I'm not sure if we'd play 2 of the 3 together since they all seem like Centers either so someone is going to be low on minutes.
