OK so who 1) has a PF that does fit our team well-enough, 2) is willing to move that PF, 3) would be interested in Randle?

Philadelphia's worst three losses are by 13 and 10 points. They only have 3 blowout losses. And that's not even the fewest in the league.
That seems like a great number to me, but I have never studied how few blowouts teams have had before, during a year.

Something to ponder : At which point will Minnesota get more national TV games added?

This needs to be dealt with better. The league should be actively punishing players who behave in a manner to intentionally draw a foul while on offense.

I think the formatting of graph is misleading. It's not really showing a very big change. There is less than a 4% difference between the low and the high for the amount of shots called fouls. It doesn't show that it's the result of players going for intentional fouls either. It could also just as easily be the result of changing points of emphasis for the refs in what constitutes a foul.

I wonder if ppl still think of Harden as a foul hunter. I knew he toned it down, but he's almost cut it out completely.

No, that's not how that works, you have to find the percent that the difference represents of the low point, because that's the scale. The low looks to be an average of 12.75% and the high 16.5%. That's a 3.75 difference, which represents a 29.4% increase over the low. That is a HUGE difference. Nearly 30% more fouls are being called now than a decade ago.

Overall fouls being called per game has remained fairly steady, which debunks the idea that there is more foul hunting going on. It backs up the idea that the increase in fouls on 2-point shots is due to a change in emphasis for the refs. The increase in fouls in this area, was offset by less calls in another. About a decade ago is when the league decided to open up movement by allowing less physical contact away from the basket. In that decade the amount of free throws per game has increased by .2 for a .8% increase. You are trying to create a crisis, where there isn't one. League Averages - Per Game By Year

League Averages - Per Game By YearThat's fouls per field goal attempt, but some fouls are called outside of goal attempts, and that wouldn't be catching those, right? Or am I misunderstanding that?

I was showing how many fouls per game are called and separately how many free throws per game are shot in total. Neither amount has significantly changed in the last decade. If there really was an uptick in hunting fouls, I think it would reflect in both of those stats over that time.
