About 2003 in the country of Chile they aired the original trilogy of Star Wars on TV with Spanish dubbing. The laws are a bit different concerning advertising there than in most nations. They sometimes stitched commercials into the films themselves rather than spend the time on a full commercial break, and they started with their TV airing of Star Wars and followed up with similar inserts into the telecasts of "American Beauty," "Gladiator," "Notting Hill" and other movies on Canal 13 back in February and March of that year.
Lucas eventually filed a complaint with the advertising authority in Chili, after the fact.
Here are all 5 Star Wars inserts, all for the same beer commercial. And they're brilliant. I want Cerveza Cristal now:

I want Cerveza Cristal now: You mean they had a promo for the product they were advertising, Cervesa Cristal, in the bottom right corner, right?

No, I mean the re-shot the actual scene in the movie and inserted it into the movie as if the character were actually doing it without pause. As seen in the videos attached
