Lol I forgot about another Chris besides Bosh being in the NBA, during the same era.
Also come back and give me your thoughts on the Astros offseason, and their season outlook.

Don't look now but Jalen Green just won his 1st player of the Week Award. It's something about his play after the all-star break that elevates. If Atlanta can help us out tonight with a W, we would only be 2 back in the loss column with a game tomorrow at the Wizards. I guess your name had to be Jalen this week to win it with Brunson nominated for the East. Funny that you called this. So is this false hope, coinciding a bit with Sengun going out or is he turning the corner? He's always done it in glimpses, but he's on some run rn. The difference this year is that he is doing at the point of the season with something to play for with us still in shot of a play-in game. In the past, our season was done already. He just dropped 42 tonight against the hapless Wizards but it was close till he broke it wide open with a 9-0 run himself and then the hockey assist to Uncle Jeff to make it 12-0. He had a 19-point first quarter and then 15-point 3rd. I think the lanes have opened more for him without Sengun in the middle and it also has allowed Amen to play more and they are both off the chart athletic and feed off each other. It's why I said earlier than I didnt want to give up on him yet....

He could have played like Jordan Poole.

Looking back on that Warriors title, even though they had championships before, they seem very fortunate to have won that year considering Poole and Wiggins went to levels they've never been to before and fell back off pretty much immediately after that. Also, the Wizards play absolutely no defense. Green was obviously great the whole month before this though anyway.

The Wizards might be the worst team in the league. Detroit has talent.
San Antonio plays hard and tries to win games. They barely rest players too.
Charlotte doesn't look too good, in terms of overall plan. Miles Bridges will probably leave. I'm not sure who will give him a contract, but someone will.
Chicago has good individual players, but can't seem to do better than that.

Right after they lost the 2nd play-in game to Memphis, they said it was a good thing that they lost in the play-in and not the playoffs, because it showed how far away they were. They said they would have had false hope if they had made it to the playoffs and lost in the 1st round.
Wiggins rebounded very well. Kind of like what Caleb Martin did for the Heat last year. Although Miami has a knack for having players play better there than elsewhere.

It will be hard for the Rockets to make the play-in but it's possible and I'd love to see it happen.

Yeah, I don't see it happening but I am glad we are close right now so that these games are meaningful. We get to see the young-uns take the next leap. We still have OKC Mavs(twice), Minnesota and Miami to play. The Warriors have the easiest schedule of the three(HOU,LA,GS) so it really might be hard to catch them and we probably want the Lakers to slip since we own the tiebreaker against them. I hope by the time the Lakers/Warriors play we are within 1 game. We can help our cause against GS with one game left against them but they own tiebreaker. Who knows, we might need to win that last matchup with you guys and you all will be resting everyone to stay healthy. Go Houston Cougars!!!

They're 3 games out it 14 games left for Houston, 14 left for Golden State, 13 left for the Lakers.
It seems possible to me.
Neither Golden State nor the Lakers are reliable.
Golden State isn't a good home team this year, 18 - 18. They had a road split with New York the past few weeks. They did the same with San Antonio.
Lost the home games in each case. Won the road games.

They have 2 productive rookies, including Jackson-Davis who has been a typical Clippers pick, an older rookie who is supposed to help right away except the ones the Clippers usually pick don't. He was also supposed to go in the 1st round, but fell to 57. Kuminga is also now a real player. CP3 is back for their bench units. I actually think the Lakers would be in pretty big trouble if they had to go there for the play in game.

Yes, Jackson-Davis and Podziemski are good.

If they could've gotten the Lakers to have to go there I'd have given them a little bit more of a chance. I still don't like the idea of the play in, but no doubt it'll be pretty exciting this year.

Don't look now but the Warriors have Minnesota, Heat and Magic for the next three games. We might be able to do something with Utah Portland and OKC up next. We have to win tonight to keep up the pressure.....Jalen Green continuing his good games with 26 point outing against the Bulls. If he has a great game tonight it could be POW for the second week in a row?
