Last 5: Suns lost by eight at home to the Pels yesterday, beat Minny by ten, beat Cavs by twenty-one, won at Pels by thirteen, and got their ass smacked by OKC on the road by twenty-five.
So who knows how this game will go with Phoenix's patterns and the NBA's unpredictability in general this year. Some juicy other games as well tomorrow (Sac @ OKC, Bos @ Mil, GS @ LAl) coming down to the wire.

(Oops. Got the day wrong. Tomorrow. Oh well. If they would just lose, I could bench my game posts.)

Suns badly need wins right now. Clippers basically need to win one more to lock up the 4 seed. It's not quite as simple as that, they really "need" 2 but 1 more will almost lock it given the odds. We play Suns twice. So, my guess is we win one, lose one. Not sure which is which though. Does Kawhi play in one of these?
[Edit - Kawhi Leonard is OUT tomorrow vs. the Suns.]

So Westbrook starts in place of Harden, and Powell starts in place of Kawhi. Rest of starters are Mann, PG and Zu.
I'd be pretty amazed if we were to win this one, with two of our top three players out. I wonder if Bones is playing off the bench?
It's weird Suns put together a superteam of Beal, Booker and Durant, and I don't think anyone thinks they will contend for the ring this season. I mean they could, but outside of Suns fans is anyone really talking about them contending this season?

Just when you thought it was safe to break out your crystal ball, the Clips take a 28-4 lead to start the game. Correction: 35-4

That was a Clipper onslaught coupled with the Suns missing every rim rattling gimme. Need to keep playing hard as we've seen these giant leads dissipate all year.

Good God, it's a massacre! 53-16 and not even at the half-way point of the 2nd quarter? Wow!

My guess is the Clipper win both, with the road one in a blowout. Looking good so far. Were you really serious when you made that prediction? Because if you did, give me some of that shit you've been smoking please.

Kevin Durant has been shooting horrible lately, which was one of my reasons. Not that anyone asked.
I also predicted the Clippers would go 6-1 on the Grammys Road Trip.
Bradley Beal also hasn't been shooting well since his return from injury a few weeks ago.
Has nothing to do with unrealistic expectations, but just seeing some trends.

If I thought the Clippers were the Celtics, I would have predicted two blowouts.
But haven't seen a reasonable reason to compare the Clippers with the Celtics.
