I figured the 2nd game would be closer, because with the Clippers, once they get some success, they don't sustain it. Going back for years. Like several years ago, when the Clippers won the first two games against Denver in a blowout, then got blown out in the 3rd game.
@doubletechnical even said "we on the first two in a blowout. What's going to change?"
Well the answer was a few Denver players playing 41+ minutes to get the win.
So I suspected if the Clippers get an easy win in the first game against Phoenix, they'll relax and the 2nd game will end up close.

If the Clippers win this first game tonight, then they can just relax and manage their injuries and conditioning until their first playoff game on April 20. Tonight's win would lock the 4th seed, so they can afford to lose out the rest of the regular season. On the other hand, Phoenix needs to keep playing hard to stay out of the play-ins.

Clippers have put together four consecutive awesome quarters. Trouble is they were not in the same game.

Wow refs just decided to call fouls on nothing against the Clippers I guess to make up for the calls on Suns

Oh gee O'Neil was "accidentally" kicked in the balls.

If the Clippers go 0 - 3 after tonight, and Dallas goes 3 - 0, Dallas would have more wins.
When I made my prediction, I was thinking the Clippers would have some of their best players for both games.

Actually I was wrong. Clips need to win one more to lock it up.

The 4th Q against Cleveland and the 1st Q tonight were probably the biggest indictment against Harden could’ve possibly seen

Clips definition of insanity. Move the ball and play well in the first half and completely, for whatever reason, do the opposite in the 2nd half? Check. Lue going to small ball resulting in a layup line for the other team? Check. Kawhi ill-timed injury? Out of control but check.
Seeded the worst possible way in the playoffs. I dont see us getting past the Mavs let alone the Wolves.

Oh, hey, we just won the Pacific Division. Been a while since we did that. I think we won it in 2014?

Not as confident. Luka has given us fits with much worse rosters and Kawhis mysterious lack of injury updates/transparency usually dont bode well.

I didn't watch the game, but seems like we built a big enough lead that even our guys' laziness couldn't piss it away. Durant must have declined a lot. His stats were awful. This explains why Phoenix is a 7 seed play-in team. As much as we hate on the Clips performance (for good reason) Phoenix has to be the biggest disappointment in the NBA.
