Coming weeks sucks to hear. I was hoping for their sake he could come back in a week, though there's obv no guarantee they're still playing after Friday. It's still possible they win that game and even if it was minor I think they should've sat him for that either way. You can't mess with a soft tissue injury early, but if he could come back in a week he could possibly play by game 3. This sounds like he'd be out the whole first round.

Mixed news on Kawhi. Lue still being noncommittal, but they asked him if he was preparing to be with Kawhi on the court or not and he said he is preparing for him to be on the court. It's probably unlikely he returns without a minutes limit though for at least the first couple games imo, but I guess we'll see.

Miami Heat - Philadelphia 76ers:
22 at the end of the first.
Oops, I thought the games started at 4:40 PM, not 4:10 PST.

The series hasn't started. You can change it IMO.
Since it hasn't started.
Then yes I am changing it to Pacers. How many games, are you thinking?

They signed a winner with Keon Ellis. Guy is a stud. De'Arron Fox referenced how good Herb Jones and Keon Ellis were at Alabama.
I didn't watch them in college, only once they got in the NBA.
But wow, that sound scary.
++++++++++++
“Keon, he's been great for us,” Kings star guard De’Aaron Fox said postgame. “Even his spot minutes before he earned a starting spot. Everybody's seeing him develop right in front of their eyes, and he's not afraid of the moment. He's not afraid of the moment at all. I couldn't imagine playing in college against him and Herb Jones on the same team in college. That'd be sick for whoever they’re guarding.
“But nah, he stepped up to the plate. He's been ready. And I'm glad that people are seeing that.”

So the usual about Embiid playing worse in the playoffs, is happening again.
I was thinking about that, too, when trying to predict this one.

You know the Heat are going to be upset to live through a "Batum Bonanza".

I think I spent about 70 minutes, maybe more, agonizing over this pick. Looking up data.
Even if I'm wrong about the result, I think I was justified in thinking that hard about it. Given how close this game is.
It would be worse if I spent that much time, and I made the wrong pick in a blowout loss.

This game makes me sad not to have Batum anymore, what a role player

You know the Heat are going to be upset to live through a "Batum Bonanza". Gotta love Nic! I know it's not HIS call, but I wish he'd use the Trail Blazers broadcasters call for Batum. I believe that was Brian Wheeler.
Batum-Shaka-Laka.
It's just the best call for a Batum moment.

Aw, Heat go down. But loved that Batum is the reason why! My brother will be happy. He's a Sixers fan.

This was the emoticon I made for Batum when he was on the Clippers. It fits today.

Aw, Heat go down. But loved that Batum is the reason why! My brother will be happy. He's a Sixers fan. My brother-in-law's friend is a Phillies fan, but not a 76ers fan, because he hates most pro sports (NBA and I think NFL).
He likes college sports more.
