Julius Randle sucks. He's shooting 34% from the field in 15 playoffs games.

If by tougher you mean folds when it matters, then yeah, they go tougher.

If by tougher you mean folds when it matters, then yeah, they go tougher. The trade is interesting but there’s little doubt that both Randle and Devo are tough minded players while KAT is Charmin grade. Devo and the 1rst rounder gives edge to Wolves.

Got tougher? They got worse. This was a bad trade for the Wolves. It's being nearly universally panned.

I think the trade has upside for both teams, but downsides that could play out just as easily either way. When Iguodala was in Philly he had a reputation as someone who folded in the playoffs, but ended up winning finals MVP with the Warriors. Something like that could play out for the Randal on the Wolves, he does have talent.

The biggest problem Minnesota had was that they have an old PG. Any trade should have gotten them a young, emerging PG. Towns inconsistency is also a problem, but not the biggest one. If Minnesota could get a young, emerging PG, and also a # 2 option on offense, then Towns could move to # 3, where he would be better suited.
I like Divincenzo but he's not a PG.

Just read more coverage of this. It was a salary dump. Wolves were facing same situation Clippers were, and dumped KAT for cap space and a pick. Wolves are looking to move Randle, now or at the deadline. Clippers I guess are in the running to trade for him. Which...not sure I like that idea but I understand why we'd take a look. Obviously Tucker's salary would have to be involved.

Neither players really move the needle. KAT had a really good season, but I don't think he'll repeat it.
