The team is straight up lying about this. Maybe to sell more season tickets who knows. But it is a disservice to the fans. They did this even before Kawhi arrived. We had an entire year of Luc Mbah a Moute as "day to day" with "soreness" remember? (2018-2019). This is been our team for a long time now. They lie to fan and the media about injuries. I am sick of it. I'd like the league to pass a new reg requiring a team doctor to examine injured players and to answer questions to media every week someone has been out for 3 games or more.

This comes off as a little bit more of not knowing or possibly incompetence rather than lying, this time. I believe there were other times where they knew Kawhi was injured and still listed him day to day. But the whole timeline of him trying to play the Olympics then Frank publicly blasting Team USA for sending Kawhi home when they thought he was ok to play just makes it seem like they don't have a good handle on this injury. Kawhi starts to feel ok and then the inflammation comes back. They have not been able to get to the root of this issue and it still feels like they are just throwing spaghetti at the wall hoping it sticks this time. This is actually one of the more forthcoming times they've been about it.

When I clicked on this thread to read your latest post, the tweet didn't load right away.
So all I saw was "Ty Lue, you're next".
I then thought you wanted Ty Lue gone.

Nothing he just constantly lies and blows off questions about player health status, just like Sixers were doing that resulted in a $100K fine.

Will Kawhi play this season? Yes, I think it's highly likely he does.

The team is straight up lying about this. Maybe to sell more season tickets who knows. But it is a disservice to the fans. Yep. But its not working as both home games so far have only been about ⅔ full at best. A LOT of open seats.

Nothing he just constantly lies and blows off questions about player health status, just like Sixers were doing that resulted in a $100K fine. Only casually following this, but wasn't the Sixers fine due to their saying openly they were 'game-managing' him? Now a no-no. Also, are coaches required to be completely honest with the media? I know that injury reports are supposed to be, but coaches surely do not have to reveal details of injuries. (Or do they?--not sure what the specific NBA rules are).
