The Los Angeles Clippers and Tosan Evbuomwan have agreed to a deal, his agent George S. Langberg of GSL Sports Group told @hoopshype . Evbuomwan averaged 7.0 points and 3.5 rebounds while shooting 42% from 3-point range as a rookie for the Detroit Pistons last season.

I've never seen the Clippers this active with trying to hit on young talent. Not sure why they didn't try more of this before.

I've never seen the Clippers this active with trying to hit on young talent. Not sure why they didn't try more of this before. Necessity is the mother of invention. They gave away all their chips in the Kawhi/PG experiment and now they have to figure out something to keep replenishing talent on a shoestring resource budget.

I want to see Miller stretched to the point where it feels like too much. I have a feeling the kid can hang, but Lue doesn't seem fully convinced yet. Alondes Williams will probably get waived, but how is he not a better prospect/fit than Bones?

Tosan Evbuomwan, Elijah Harkless, Braxton Key and Alondes Williams were all officially waived. Kai Jones converted to 2-way contract.
So seems like someone was doing Tosan or his agent a favor.

Alondes I believe signed w Pistons. Would have preferred him over Bones, but I guess he was a casualty of the guaranteed contract. It seems like the Clippers are trying to trade Bones and of course Tucker, but too bad we couldn't keep Williams. Just seems like guards are definitely more saturated around the league though. If there was a forward who had shown the same level of promise I think more teams would be much more interested.

Bones was not extended and will be a free agent at the end of the season.
I think that's the only reason he's on the roster: he's signed for another season so on the trade block with PJ Tucker, as you say.
I am sad we didn't pick up Robert Covington. Ty Lue just didn't want to play him but given a few starts he finds his rhythm and is a competent start-level player.
