He'll have his good games, but Jokic got his work cut out for him. I know people were saying Russ is gonna be different over there because he gets to play with the best player, but jacking up a bunch of 3s as a poor shooter isn't going to be the recipe and I don't care how good Joker is. OKC is going to dominate the West, that team has answers everywhere.

What does "dominate the west" mean? How many games lead will they have over 2nd place?

To me, it depends on if Chet can be consistent. If so, then they could have a sizable lead over 2nd. If not, then their bigs could still be a liability, like it was last year at times.
They played a team that has failed to keep players two offseasons in a row.

Yeah Braun had a good game for Denver, but don't really like him as a starter and they will miss KCP.
Don't forget, OKC has Hartenstein coming back in about a month. I think if they go for it, they can win the West by 10 games.

I'm not going to predict who might replace them. Don't have a feeling right now. But Denver's offseason moves / non moves the past few years have only hurt them. Last year, I did predict OKC would be 2nd in the west, before the season. I had a feeling. Well they beat that, albeit via a tie. Maybe Memphis beats out Denver for wins. I could see Phoenix winning regular season games, and then losing in the first round. Don't trust their health, and don't trust Bradley Beal in the playoffs anymore. Has any team in any conference ever had a 10 game lead over 2nd? EDIT: Ok Boston did it over New York last year, 14 game lead.

Prior to Boston last year, it hadn't happened since 2015, when a 67 win Golden State team had an 11 game lead over a 56 win Houston team.

A 66 win Miami team had a 12 game lead over a 54 New York team in 2013. So good prediction hitnrun24. It will be something fun to watch for. It's something that doesn't happen too often, but does happen under the right circumstances.

I like Westbrook, even though he is well past his prime. I don't think he is the answer for the Nuggets' problems though.
