www.rotoworld.com/basketball/nba/teams/por/portland-trail-blazersBlazers - 2. Maybe Hood is out. Maybe Turner is out. Not sure why they are favored in this game. We have been hot lately and have homecourt advantage. Beverley probably on McCollum and Shai probably on Lillard with Shamet on Harkless. Gallo should have an easy job guarding Aminu with Zubac on Nurkic. This does not look bad for our starters so our superior bench should kill them once they get in the game. Can we afford to trap Damian and lay off Harkless or Aminu. Maybe. That probably is the only way they beat us is by Damian going crazy and hitting a lot of shots. We have a five game winning streak and if we win this game we could extend it a lot more. Plus, now we are fighting the Jazz and Spurs for sixth place so we have to keep winning our home games. Plus, we owe these guys a beating.

Portland doesn't defend, so it's easy to get into a rhythm against them.

Gallo with the day off against a very good team is likely a loss. Would have preferred he take the day off against Boston. Ah well.

It’s all good w Danilo. Small ankle sprain, if it were a playoff game he’d b playing. We have depth and can beat the Blazers. Need better ball movement.

No Gallo, no win. Green and Chandler are fine backups but not starter level. Ah well, too bad. Win would have been nice.

We hung in there really well until McCollum started hitting all those threes in the fourth quarter. Happy with the way our guys competed in this game. Zubac needs to finish at the rim a lot better. Most of his offensive rebounds were off of his own missed shots. Give this guy another summer to stick around L.A. and work on his fitness and his game and he is going to be a really good player. He reminds me a lot of Nurkic. A guy who has improved a lot in the last two years and is now a quality center. They are almost identical in size. Just let Zubac grow into his body and start lifting weights and he won't be as soft as he is now. Good to see Wilson Chandler get a good run of meaningful minutes. And he played pretty well.
Shamet and Shai got some good experience last night on how the playoffs are going to be. Two teams clawing at each other all night trying to get a win. Thought Shai held up pretty well but he did not shoot enough after the first quarter. He needs to take those threes when they are open. The word is out on Shamet. They cover him now and don't let him just stand outside the three point line and shoot. The Blazers were very well prepared to shut down our offense last night. And not having Gallo to space the floor was a killer.

Portland actually game planned to try and shut down our strengths. Without Gallo we were a little too predictable.
Zubac with 9 offensive rebounds, mostly off his his own misses.
Good to see Chandler is healthy.
Luc might be out for the rest of the season.

Luc might be out for the rest of his career. Seriously, if you can't play all year, and your injury was "knee is sore" with zero medical updates aside from "might be back soon" all year, I think you've probably killed your entire NBA career.
