Then you have not watched many of our games, or San Antonio's, OKCs, or the Thunders games recently. We're better than all three of those teams, right now, given their injuries and how they're all playing these days. But hey, that's OK. Everyone has underestimated the Clippers all year long, so it's no surprise it's still happening. If we get the Rockets, I hope they underestimate us as well. I respect this Rockets team (unlike a lot of people on this board) but I do think we have a shot at beating them in a 7 game series. Believe me I watch alot of basketball especially with NBA league pass....Sure OKC has been a serious funk since the All-star break and Portland sustained a serious injuries to their center and other main guard and they are still winning. I would still take both of them over you guys in the playoffs and a Popovich coached team in the playoffs is no joke either. If you look at your losses they are against teams that are just plain better.. Anytime since the all-star break when you guys come up to competition you lose...Utah, Denver, Portland, Milwaukee....the teams you beat have been in slumps..Boston, OKC. Those are the only two "signature" wins you might have since the break. I will give it to you guys that you have heart but in the playoffs you have to have a superstar....period.....Good thing is that everything you do now is on "house money" anyways.....I see a few moral victories coming up for you guys...... |

Clippers have two starting guards that are rookies and a center who is 22 years old and still trying to learn the NBA game. Of course people think we are the weakest team. They underestimate the value of having a bench that can give us 50 points a night. Or we overestimate that value and we are going to just get shellacked in the playoffs and exposed as a regular season wonder. I think the Warriors would do just that. Maybe the Rockets too. But Denver and Portland I think would be competitive series.

Have you looked at Portland or OKC? San Antonio lost to Sacramento at home and struggled to beat Atlanta at home yesterday. An Atlanta team that has been playing better in its last 12 games. They had another good win today, beating Philadelphia. |
