3 - 9, Virginia.
29 - 32 halftime.
Both teams had leads in the last few minutes.
Good game.
Texas Tech keeps missing on defensive rebounds. Then there's a tie up, and Virginia had the possession arrow.
They then score a 3, to push it to 43 - 53.
Texas Tech bigs are playing well, rebounding, passing.
If they make the next FT, they can tie it at 59.
Texas Tech misses a 3, and Virginia scores to make it 61 - 65.
Texas Tech then tries a 3 again, and makes it! 64-65, 1:31 left.

One of the best championship games I've seen.
Good defense and offense.
I wanted Texas Tech to win.
Virginia barely had to wait for redemption. 1 year. Other teams in sports history wait more.

Guy looked like one of the guys from Hickory High in the movie Hoosiers. Naturally he hits the big shot and free throws to beat Auburn in the semis. Then he gets 24 last night in the win. He is Mr. Indiana basketball recruited by Virginia. They could make a pretty damn good movie about this Cavaliers team after they lost last year as the number one overall seed and then came back this year to win the title in very dramatic fashion. This was one of the best stories in NCAA basketball championship history. Real good semifinals and an excellent final game to follow it up. Just thrilling to watch.

College basketball is great. If it was not for the NBA taking up much of my viewing time I would be a huge fan. But just following the tournament is pretty exciting and teams advancing to the final four make me wish I had seen more to their play throughout the season. The NBA is what is bad since most of these first round matchups are going to be sweeps and teams just going through the motions for the money. Like the Clippers for instance.

I cannot watch college basketball, it’s just bad. The game is slower, and less athletic. They take longer to run the offense. Sometimes, the coaches control the action too much. The athletic directors control the schedules, and stronger teams can bribe weaker teams to play them by giving them money. That money rarely actually improves the program itself, but just helps in general school funding. But, I think March Madness can produce some good games and good matchups.

I cannot watch college basketball, it’s just bad. Not as bad as the Houston Rockets Quiz Question: If Houston missed 27 straight 3's in the playoffs without Austin Rivers, then how many consecutive 3's will they miss with Austin Rivers?
