This article says the NBA lifted it after 8 games. Which means it was supposed to be longer, but they reduced it mid-way on their own.

I wonder if the Clippers make the playoffs in 01-02 if LO didn't get hurt at the end of the season.

So no one remembers how long the suspension was supposed to be? It sounds like it was reduced mid-way to 8 games.

The NBA never announced how many games he was suspended for the second time. So when it says "lifted", it just means he served 8 games.
