Majority Rock and Metal. Definitely 80's metal; Iron Naidon, Judas Priest, Metallica, Anthrax, Testament, Slayer, etc.
I definitely get into virtuoso guitarists as well such as Yngwie, Satriani, John Patrucci, Vinnie Moore, Buckethead, anything similar.
A little bit of modern metal such as Arch Enemy, Trivium and Children of Bodom
I was a huge fan of but outgrew some of those trendy "metal" bands of the 2000's such as A7X(still will listen to them from time to time, though), Disturbed, Slipknot, Bullet for my Valentine, All That Remains, etc.
As a millennial, I do think a lot of 90's music is overrated and far overplayed. Give me some gangster rap
I love classical music, I'll listen to a lot of Chopin, Mozart, Saint-Seans, Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Strauss, Mussorgsky, so many to name. Huge fan of big Symphonies and Concertos.
Current pop and hip hop is pure garbage to me. None of it sounds good. None of it is talent. Hardly any of it was created by the "artist". Maybe I'm just an old time millennial stuck in my ways. I wish rock and metal would dominate the mainstream again.
I'm a huge Dream Theater fan. Denver has a lot of Phish fans and I like to mock them by saying Dream Theater is Phish with musical talent. They get so mad lol.

Did you go to the show at the T-Mobile arena on January 17th? While all of Maynard's bands have always had the no camera/video/audio recording policy, THIS TIME during the last song, he said people could pull out their phones. That was different, compared to the past shows. The crowd seemed to respect the no camera policy this time more than past shows. I barely saw any cameras this time until right before intermission, at the date that I attended. I wouldn't want to piss him off, because he's cut shows short in the past. Outside of Tool or Maynard's bands, I've started recording shows with my audio recorder, since late 2015. Not every song, as that's a little too distracting, or it might not be a good idea to have a device out if the crowd is active on the floor. But I record either something that I was looking forward to hearing, or something different that sounds cool. Like when there's a cool unique live intro to a song that, then sometimes I decide that I don't know where this is going, but I want to record whatever is going to happen.

But I record either something that I was looking forward to hearing, or something different that sounds cool. I would never see Tool in Las Vegas.... I would commit suicide if I heard "people" from Las Vegas cheering when Ænema played... I don't have a problem with the song because it's more of an attack on Hollywood and Scientology. Those that live outside of Los Angeles think we are all like those people, and my soul would be crushed to hear boos that were attacking me. I saw them in San Diego back in 2010, when people did boo at Ænema being played. In October 2019, I saw them again at Staples... and people cheered at Ænema, which again is fine because everyone in LA knows that the song is directed at Scientology and Hollywood. Maynard let us record Stinkfist btw, which was the last song. I passed on going in January, mostly because of that reason and I despise going out in Las Vegas...

Also props to spelling the title properly. I usually don't spell it properly.

Speaking of your life around 2010, how many games did you see Kawhi in person, at SDSU? Any memorable ones?

To be specific, they booed at Maynard saying "It was a great concert, but now I'm going to sip on my Arizona Bay Ice Tea". That was followed by boos. I also like how Maynard is anti-vegan... although his wine is vegan
