Are any of you going to post some thoughts?
'Live with Me' came on the iphone mix whilst biking the other day and he could obviously keep a very steady beat, the essential part of rock n roll drumming. Admire more the drums created on dub reggae tracks such as say 'Black Vest' by THe Upsetters. A free-form open expression where you can ad-lib and non-rigid unlike the strict confines of rock. Regardless, great band and sad loss for them.

I'm a huge Dream Theater fan. Denver has a lot of Phish fans and I like to mock them by saying Dream Theater is Phish with musical talent. They get so mad lol. Are you going to the 40th anniversary tour?
They have a stop in Denver.

pulled a "two-consecutive gigs weekend" which hasn't happened in years. Pulp at Hollywood Forever Cemetery and Hoodoo Gurus Humphrey's By The Bay. Both shows were excellent though body and mind a bit beat up with all the travel/partying/sensory overload. And almost squeezed in Father John Misty at Pappy's je (glad didn't).
Gig break for a while for sure.

I did a 3 in 5 days, and 4 in 11 days, this year.
Coincidentally met someone who was on his way to do the same 3 in 5 days.
I generally go to 15 - 20 a year. Sometimes they are bunched together.
Glad you enjoyed yours.
