Great to see VFHS on this new board. Welcome back. We need all of the Clippers fans we can get on this board. Agree Kobe got Phil fired and D'Antoni hired for the Lakers.

The ultimate power move for a coach is to also be the GM, but that has never worked out. Magic also got Pat Riley to not be re-signed. After Pat Riley had a "boot camp" in between games 1 and 2 of the 1989 Finals, and Magic and Byron Scott got injured. Scott was already injured, but Riley didn't help. Yeah Riley coached for one more year, but Magic was instrumental in them not re-hiring Riley after 1990. |
