I like Tobias, but does anyone think he is a max guy? All-star?
I'm starting to think no. He'll get his 20 every night but I never feel like he puts the team on his back to get the win.

Hopefully, we trade out Tobias for Kawhi Leonard this coming summer. Looks like I was wrong about Kawhi. He is putting up superstar numbers so far in Toronto and is helping them win games. So apparently the knee isn't a problem. We will know more once he plays a few more games though. I like Tobias but he isn't one of those max guys that can get you a title. More a Gallo type guy in my opinion who should get maybe 20 million a year. But probably there are teams who will pay him more.
Small sample size of four games so far. Does not tell us much. Need at least 10 games in to get some idea where our team is at. To me Lou has not played well this year. Yet he is highest on the list. Maybe playing with the defensive minded Mbah a Moute and SGA has gotten him that high. SGA should start instead of Bradley. That would shake up the stats.

Why would anybody think that? He never has been. He's been a good player, but not a great player. I think some people are hoping that he could be because its a contract year or something. He's off to a good start this season  |

I think we established on the old board that Tobias is at best a third banana on championship team. He is really good at what he does, but is also limited by what he doesn't do. (Doesn't draw fouls, average to below-average defense.)
