Rockets -4 O/U 219
Harden is out with hamstring injury. Cp3 returns. This is like Cp3 without Blake time. We need Beverley to get feisty or else it's going to be a lot dunks from Capela and wide open 3s for their shooters. Let's get it!

We have a chance of winning this game. The Pelicans and Jazz both smacked the Rockets at home. Plus, Harden is a lot of their offense. Not even sure who is playing the point when CP3 rests. Clippers should start Beverley with SGA then run Bradley out on defense when Beverley comes out. Hound CP3 the entire game with these two guys and don't give him any breaks. Make sure he can't get going with Capella. Have SGA shutdown Gordon who will probably start with Harden out. I hope we can win this thing. If we do it will be our defense that wins it.

Gordon is gonna be the key to stopping them tonight. If he has a good game, we probably lose, if we slow him down, we can win.

EGor so far this year is a huge step down from Harden. He shoots almost as much, but doesn't make many of them. He is a huge step down in rebounding and steals, and he barely passes the ball at all.
Let's hope for the same consistency from Gordon tonight that he's shown all year. But, obviously, cover his ass so he doesn't get a chance to get a shooting groove started.

Paul George, Eric Gordon, Harry Giles, and Dennis Schroder are off to terrible shooting starts. It's been about 4 games for each, though.

Shai playing great defense. He just needs to fight through screens more.
Montrez is beasting. Bradley showing signs of life. Good game so far.

Easily the best performance of the season to date, and Harrell was especially amazing. Also nice to see Jerome get his first of many NBA buckets.
Gotta love beating the Rockets. Nice 3-13 shooting night and 5 turnovers by CP0, BTW. Getting outplayed by Melo is pretty sad. If they really do trade four first-round picks for Jimmy Butler, they'll be Brooklyn Nets West at this rate.

I actually watched the first six minutes of the game and we totally sucked on offense. We had like eight points. So our starters still suck. Then we get 62 the last 18 minutes of the half. I am like whoa. WTF is going on with this team. Teodosic should start. SGA should be the point of the reserves. Bradley should start with Milos. Beverley should come in to D up people on the reserves. SGA should be a point forward with Lou and Beverley as the guards. This team has some solid pieces but Doc has to do a better job of coaching them. Get the lineups right. And what is going on with Gortat. He is the next best thing to useless so far. Still doing great with shooting free throws. That is a strength now that we don't have DJ dragging us down.

great game and nice seeing h-town get the beat down. Melo is sure helping them out (jeje). Props to T-Har for keeping composure after Mr Smiley tried to get in his head.
Knock on wood but the team is just so loaded right now with both the first and second units. Could it be a unexpected special year for this team? Kudos to Doc and staff for doing a good job and appreciate giving Shai minutes as that kid could be a Livingston-like 2006 playoff cog if the team continues this way. Exciting times indeed. Go Clips!

Finally got around watching my DVR of the game. The first unit still has problems playing together. The first 7 minutes was some of the worst basketball I've ever seen. They struggled at the start of the third also. But then Lou came in and completely took over. He had 19 at the half.
Milo made a difference with his passing. Both in the half court and for getting us some fast break points. At one point he threw an 80 foot pass to Scott for an easy bucket. No one else on the team would even think to do that.
SGA looks more assertive every game. Even when he makes mistakes, you can see he learns from them. At one point he fell for CP3's fake pump and got called for a shooting foul, the next time around he didn't fall for it and caused CP3 to kick out. Overall his defense was very good on Paul.
Bradley shot better but I wasn't impressed. He shoots too many long 2's.
Tez was in beast mode. They switch a lot on defense and he just ate up every scrub that ended up on him. Most of it was just him out working people.
85 points from the bench!

Bradley had a good game finally, but he and Beverley don't make sense as the starting backcourt, I can't think of any other teams with starting guards who are less of creators than those 2. I guess the Cavs with Lebron were similar, but they had the ultimate offensive creator. Our bench has gotta be hands down the best in the league though, this team would be so good with a true superstar to put in the starting lineup. We have a ton of talented guys we can go with in many different match ups, but we will struggle when those guys have an off game or the other team has the star power to overcome our bench's hot spurts.
