almost halfway through the briskly paced season already battling the T-Wolves with their top record in the West (and second overall to BOS), so this should be a juicy game. Not to awaken the beast, but kind of expected Antman's numbers to be higher coming off a strong Olympic games/new contract/maturity/etc...overall looks multifaceted and strong though thought he'd be scoring in the 30+ range as just an offensive talent. KAT also down to 21ppg. And two centers Gobert/Reid are the third and forth scorers on the team. WEird, but effective obvs.

Seems to me if there is ever going to be a time to give both Theis and Plumlee a chunk of playtime, this game should be it. Playing against KAT, Gobert and Reid, if we play small we’ll be swallowed alive. Minnesota is likely to always have at least two of their bigs on the floor. They are a very stingy defensive team, allowing only 107 points per game, least in the league. We’re probably going to have to score 120-125 points and limit them to 105-110, and playing small will not be enough for us to score 120 points unless we have a super hot 3-pt shooting night, and counting on that is not a good game plan.
Russ and Mann are averaging a combined 48 minutes per game. Maybe take them down to about 30 and give Plumlee 18? I’d be curious to see how that would work.

Clippers getting a lot of respect here. Road favorites against the number 1 seed.

Zubac a late scratch with calf tightness. Damn, this is not a good game for that to happen.

Well PG (1/10) is certainly playing like he deserves a max extension.

Fun game. Defensive battle. Good 2nd quarter to get right back in it.

Without Zu this game was not gonna happen for us. Right, our other bigs weren't gaining traction. Russ led a run, but when he's in they had Rudy helping a lot. Clippers were challenging Gobert a little too much and he did what he's great at.

Zu wasn't the difference maker. Plumlee played well in his place and probably should have started. PG and Harden had bad shooting nights. PG's first half was atrocious. If at least 1 of those 2 had a good shooting night this would be a different game.

Zu would have made a big difference. Messed up our game plan and flow.

The Zu/Harden pick and roll and the actions that play off it is one of our most go to plays. He's not super loud out there, but we miss the stuff he can do. Also allowed Gobert to roam more. I agree though that some of the other stuff like George being off contributed as well. I'm still not too worried about these guys in a playoff series.
