I would put Orlando in the same category as you did Dallas. Dallas has the 13th best record in the league, Orlando the 14th.
Orlando has the 4th best defense in the league.
They do struggle on the road, though.
Orlando has a better home record than Dallas. Orlando is 17 - 7. Dallas is 16-13.
You had previously categorized them as "weaker". When at the time of my post, they had almost the same record as Dallas.
I would think Orlando and Dallas would either both be either in the weaker category, or the stronger category.
Orlando just beat one of the hottest teams, in Cleveland, on the road, yesterday.
The other teams you mentioned, San Antonio, Chicago, and Charlotte, and either lottery teams, or barely play-in teams. Orlando is on the border of being an outright playoffs team, or a play-in team.
I could also see Orlando and Dallas both being in the weaker category, because they both only have one All-Star.
Your other teams in the stronger category, Milwaukee and OKC, have some things going for them. Milwaukee has two All-Stars.
And OKC's starting lineup is a lot better than Dallas and Orlando.
So I could see Dallas and Orlando not being in the stronger category too.
Maybe Orlando and Dallas should be in their own tier.
They are not Milwaukee and OKC.
They are not San Antonio, Charlotte, and Chicago. They are mid tier.
I suppose... But since we are splitting hairs, for what it's worth, I would point out that Dallas has beaten Orlando twice this years and the two will not play again, so it's a sweep.
