I finished that. Post your thoughts on that too. Just in general I am liking what I've seen of this season. It's the most similar to the first season. I really like the hint of supernatural in the show. I think the acting is rock solid. The pace is slow but steady and rising. I have heard it gets worse. But I am going to try to not let that outside opinion impact my view of the show as I proceed. Thanks. To me, the surprise was how many episodes it was. I didn't know it would be that number. I thought it would be a larger number. Yes, this season has more of a supernatural feel, then say, season 2. I didn't like season 2 as much.

So, for the Curb Your Enthusiasm episode, do you think we heard a cough, and not a sneeze, through the walls?

I did like how they ended the episode with the punchline about the eggs.

He was debating his will on the last episode.

From various cast and crew that I've heard on podcasts, here are some deleted scenes:
* The rabbi had a scene early on where he kept interrupting Larry. * The Chinese restaurant server was supposed to reveal his name. * There was even more footage of Irma eating at the brick unveiling ceremony. And more dialog about it. * Larry was supposed to say how he's good with young girls in a jacuzzi, "in a good way". * Freddy Funkhouser's dream scheme was even darker. A lot darker.

I had a prediction that Larry David would have a sex scene this season. Since I think he had one, each of the last few seasons.
I thought my prediction was then going to come through in the 3rd episode. But the sex scene that I thought he was going to be in, involved Leon instead. This prediction happened. It wasn't with anyone we could have predicted, though. Sienna Miller was who I thought it could have been with. But episode 7 introduced a new character, someone we'd never seen or heard about before.

So was the maid faking trauma? I didn't think so when watching, but a podcast says she was.
When watching, I thought maybe her dream was real, and it wasn't a dream scheme.

I thought it was initially real trauma, but then as the episode went on she was faking it to get away with things. Kind of like the kid who gets sick and stays home from school, but then doesn't want to go back and starts acting like they are not well yet when they are.

Good analogy, thanks.
It looks like this is a different maid from past seasons. Almost every season, there seems to be some plot with a maid.
Not that he always has to have the same maid, but because this was her first episode, and it wasn't the same actor from past episodes, I had a hard time reading her.
For example, when walked in on Larry licking the hoodie drawstring, I thought she was really disgusted. But maybe as you're saying, she was pretending.

Forgot to mention one more thing. The editor, who does the odd numbered episodes (episodes 1, 3, 5, 7, 9), says that the outline for Freddy Funkhouser during his dream scheme was supposed to be about not wanting to teach the girl how to drive, or go shopping. So Vince Vaughn took it in a different direction. I thought what we saw was dark. Especially the part about locking her in a basement. Or using a bucket as a toilet. But the editor said there was even darker stuff, that didn't make the cut.
