Luka and Trae are leading in Points/Game, Ayton is leading in Win Shares and PER. None of them are playing for playoff teams.
Shai looks good and should get the starting job over Bradley. I don't know if Doc is ready to write off the $12MM they just gave Avery.

Young has a chance. He could win it too, there's about 85% of the season left.

Ayton should win it going away, But "Yay, points" voting will give it to Doncic.

Ayton should win it going away, But "Yay, points" voting will give it to Doncic. If that were the case, Brogdon wouldn't have won Rookie Of The Year.
It looks like the voters did Yay Assists and Yay steals voting.

Yay, you found an exception! Brog was clearly the best player.

The only thing keeping me, personally from having Ayton higher is the lack of defense. I haven't seen a Suns game yet, but I've listened to multiple commentators say that he needs to improve his defense. One of the same broadcasters also lamented the Suns guards defense, too, and said it was a mess.
That surprised me, because before the draft, I thought defense was going to be Ayton's strong point.
Again, I haven't seen a Suns game yet. So I don't know if I agree with that assessment.
I haven't seen any of these rookies mentioned play yet, actually.
So I'll revisit this after I've seen a few play.

Speaking of the Suns, thoughts on these uniforms?
EDIT: Those are from a year ago! Shows that I haven't kept up with them.

Not a ROY prediction but seemed an OK place for this: Clippers' coach Doc Rivers on starting Shai Gilgeous-Alexander vs. #Wolves - "It was great. Shai was going to start whether Avery [Bradley] was healthy or not. We were going to move the lineup around cuz I think it's time for him to start. I thought Shai was fantastic."

Speaking of Brogdon, he was great last night in beating the Warriors.

After last night's game I am thinking Shae Gilgeous-Alexander will win ROY. He really is a factor on both sides of the court and has a whole lot of savvy for a rookie. And he should soon be a starter for us and get a lot of minutes a game which will help his stats. Doncic may not improve as much as SGA even though he is already really good. Not sure Ayton will get much attention playing for the Suns. Trae too inconsistent but who knows with him.

I think this is a great draft class. Easily better than last year's.
