The Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs and Toronto Raptors are among many teams expected to pursue Kristaps Porzingis in a trade, league sources tell ESPN.

You left off New Orleans. Which I'd say is a strong possibility. AD for KP seems like a ready-made trade. Dallas too.

"The Mavericks have agreed to take on the contracts of Tim Hardaway Jr. and Courtney Lee to facilitate a Porzingis trade and are working to complete the transaction. The Knicks would receive Dennis Smith Jr. and the expiring contracts of DeAndre Jordan and Wes Matthews"

If that trade goes through, it's a steal. They're giving up expiring contracts and taking on some expensive filler to make it happen without giving up anything actually good for him.

Wow this one is a shocker!
Looks like DJ and Wes are going to get bought out.
Funny that DJ left the Clippers for an organization that "really wanted him" in Dallas, and then Dallas immediately turned around and dumped him. Watch him sign with GS now or the Lakers or some stupid shit like that.
BTW, word is that KP is going to sign the one year qualifying offer in the off-season and become a UFA in 2020, same year as AD, so there is some risk for Dallas here.

Knicks are essentially trading Porzingis for capspace and Dennis Smith Jr. Smith Jr. wasn't working with Doncic so that isn't much of a loss for the Mavs. Not sure I like Porzingis to stay healthy. Missing two years with a leg injury isn't good. Mavs taking on Hardaway's contract is a bad deal for them IMO. Lee couldn't be that bad could he. Knicks contenders for any number of free agents this summer with this deal. Plus, they are in line for the number one draft pick. I guess they find out who that is before they sign their free agents. I like this deal for the Knicks and hate it for Dallas. Dallas chasing a Dirk clone seems pretty dumb.

I wonder what DJ is thinking right now. I don’t see him going to GS to come off the bench. We are the perfect destination for DJ. He’ll have a battle to star in Lakerville. They have a pretty good center situation right now.

Is DJ eligible to come back here? The Finley rule should not be in effect because he was not traded. He left as a free agent. Denver or Milwaukee could use a center like him. Knicks probably just release him and pay him since they want to finish last.

We could really use DJ. We're getting killed on offensive rebounds. He can fit right back into our system.
