Jordan's generally a happy guy. He'll find a way to be happy about the rest of the season.

I saw a little of the Bucks/Raptors game last night. It looks to me like Leonard has the Blake Griffin syndrome. Which means he does not have any vertical lift to his game anymore. Those quad injuries must really take it out of the knees. I don't want him. Plus, all the games he was held out for "rest" this season. I don't think he is even a top 10 player anymore. Klay is like Jerome Robinson. Who showed some real promise last night against the Lakers. So I would keep Jerome and pass on Klay too. I would be good with getting DJ back and resigning Tobias at a reasonable rate.

Even without vertical lift, Kawhi is still inducing 7.7 free throw attempts a game. If he can still draw that type of contact rate, as well as continue is 49.9% shooting from the floor, then he's still great to me, on offense.
I agree though that that Raptors game was disappointing.

But is he a max guy or just a Chris Paul type who used to be great three years ago. I hate paying guys for what they did in the past. I guess though he will have a chance to prove he is still a great player in the playoffs. He is still a very good player. Just not convinced he is still a top 10 player much less a top two or three player. Not convinced that he is a team first guy either after the Spurs fiasco that he put them through.

Jordan and/or Kanter will be moved by the Knicks. They both are expiring contracts and they have 2 very promising young guys in the wings already (Robinson and Kornet). If we felt we could resign either one, I wouldn't want to take on their salary as one of our highest paid players, but if we felt we could resign either for the right price I'd take either one as it would be an upgrade to our center spot. Only as long as it left enough room to either go after 2 max players or resign Harris and 1 max player.

DJ for Gortat and Teodosic. Money works, all expiring deals. DJ helps us make the playoffs. Gortat and Teodosic ensure Knicks get top pick. Trade is a win win.

Knicks are just going to buy out DJ and be done with it. Why take on players that they do not want. We could get DJ back on our team. Just buy out Teodosic to get the roster spot. Or just release him. Clippers also expected to make a run at Vucevic this summer. If DJ does not work out why not make a run at him now.

DJ could do wonders for our defense. And him and Doc are still good friends. I would love to see him back and retire as a Clipper.

He's definitely a max guy. Kawhi never really had that crazy explosiveness. He's athletic, but he uses more of his length to be disruptive. His offensive game doesn't rely on his jumping ability.

Supposedly our staff have been attending most of his games. If he lost some abilities they would know about it.

I like DJ, but what would be the point? We're not going to pay him what he can get from another team, so we'd rent him for a short while just to see him move on again?
If we could sign DJ to a long term MLE-type deal, like a Mo Williams type deal, then great sure bring him in. Otherwise, I don't see what the point would be.

This is even more true with the Zubac acquisition. Zubac makes more sense from a longterm standpoint.
