This game is no more important than the Kings, Laker, Thunder, or Celtics games. Have an off night and lose and it doesn't change anything. Just means we go out and win a lot of the games left to close out the season. Win it and it means we have a legitimate chance of catching the Blazers for fifth place. Lose it and sixth is probably our ceiling. So it is big but I don't think it will change the league wide perception of our team. We have a good shot at Kawhi and Kyrie already this summer. Or even the best assets to offer for Anthony Davis. That doesn't change based on one game.

I think tonight’s game is unusually important for several reasons: The timing in the season, the statement it would make, the confidence it would provide for this young team, and the notice it would get from around the league. This would make it 6 wins in a row, which would be the longest winning streak of the year with wins against Sacramento, OKC, Boston, and Portland, and this would indicate the team is coming together and peaking at the right time. Lose the game tonight as expected, and the narrative continues as it has — great young team, great future, the front office has done a great job, Doc has done a great job, etc. Win it and it significantly changes the complexion of the playoffs and the perception of the future. Close out with the 6th seed or even move into the 5th and there is not a free agent superstar who wouldn’t recognize the unique opportunity to join this team this summer 1) to become an instant contender if not a favorite, and 2) to remain a contender for a long time as the young pool of talent gains experience. Big game tonight!Does that mean you'll uncork a special wine?

Cool. Let us know what you have, and how you like it (especially if it's your first time having that one).

If we go .500 the rest of the way, we’ll finish the season 46-36. 11-3 will give us a 50 win season.

Hopefully, we win the next five games and that will be a wrap as far as making the playoffs are concerned. See if the Jazz and the Spurs can keep pace. And yes I think the Rockets would be a good playoff opponent. Denver may not be as tough as they have been all season on us. We have a totally different team now and when we played them in Denver with this team it was after a long road trip and we were worn out. Things might be different in a playoff series.

Outside of GS, I think we can take anybody in the west. Keep pushing!

We lose all 11 games left and Sacto has to go 8 and 5 to beat us out of the eighth spot. We should eliminate the Lakers tomorrow by beating the Pacers and having them lose at the Bucks. Sweet. We have to stay in eighth at least long enough to be the ones who knock out the Lakers.

McCollum might be out a couple of weeks with knee injury. I read he may be out for the rest of the regular season.

OKC has 3 losses in a row now, and this last one was to the Heat. It wasn't even close. They have only one game on us.
We've played them 4 times, splitting the series 2-2. We're not in the same division so I think it then goes to Conference record - which is also tied right now.
They're about to play the Raptors twice, and Nuggets in 10 days. They have a harder Strength of Schedule than ours as well.
