My son and I were debating between disaster and catastrophe. We settled on disastrous catastrophe.

Russ/Harden/Plumlee lineups are disastrous. Disastrous catastrophes if you will. There's no space, Russ can't make layups or 3s, Plumlee gets pushed around. I'll be fair to Russ and say Clippers were making stuff happen when he was in without Harden at the end of the 3rd. When he plays off the ball with Harden the ball always finds itself over to him open for 3. And on the other end him and Plumlee were making crazy gambles and leaving Kleber wide open for 3. Kyrie's stats were shockingly low, he was easily the best player in this game. He looks like a top 5 player in the league right now.
Luka's stats look great, but for the first 2.5 quarters he really wasn't all that good. The offense should run through Powell more. Harden and George were awful in this game. Everything feels like we are on our heels. If that Kawhi guy was ever available there's no way they'd be the more aggressive team, but we are passive right now. We need 2 out of 2 great games from George and Harden and even then if Kyrie and Luka go off it still might not be enough. Not to mention some rando hitting a ton of 3s.

Without Kawhi, getting beat wouldn't really bother me too much. But getting beat like this does.

Glad I didn't stay up for this one. I see Big Game James and Playoff P showed up. Russ followed suit.
Blow. It. Up.

This play! Note that Playoff-P, Mann, Zu, and Powell don't even bother to get back.

The Crappers freak owner looked like you could cook an egg atop his burning red bald head. Way to show up at home, Clips! Dallas -7.5 Game 6 which nobody will believe the Clips can win. Thus they'll probably pull off before losing Game 7 in a blowout at home. What a strange, inconsistent series from both sides.
Might as well bring back Kawhi at this point. If he gets severely injured and is forced to retire does his contract come off the books freeing up cap space?

boxscore is dreadful. 25% from deep (Hardon 1-7, Powell 1-6, Coffey and Mann 1-4). Russ shot 2-11, Playoff P 4-13. Four steals and no blocks (Dallas had six blocks). Wot a Crapshow.

DISGUSTING basketball by the Clippers last night. Embarrassing for a home game. Also, Clipper organization DID NOTHING to try to energize the crowd at Crypto. 1 T-shirt toss with 6 min left in the game and ½ the crowd walking up the aisles to leave at that point as we were down 25 at the moment. Oh, and a Neil Diamond sing-a-long.
Such a depressing atmosphere, especially watching the effort put forth by the Clippers on on the court. It was the Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight. NO ONE showed up to play. Probably thinking about what bathing suit to bring to Cancun.

This is how I was watching the first half at a restaurant in Wyoming with a couple of other Clipper fans.

overloaded on gordon’s/diet schweppes last night too in a clipperfunk w mood turning more sour w each sip and play viewership. Crappervision indeed! Awful to hear about the atmosphere. Maybe that’s why they seemingly are playing better in texas as their crowd is fired up.

Maybe that’s why they seemingly are playing better in texas as their crowd is fired up. I'd recommend herb instead. That way (if you're on the East Coast) you fall asleep and don't have to witness any of this. Enough of this. Even when they were winning, this team (to me) is awful to watch. The only players I have even the slightest interest in are Bones and Zu. (I like Powell, but wouldn't walk across the street to see him play). Westbrook's expiration date has passed. Blow. It. Up. (Easy for me to say, since all I have invested is the time I've wasted following them, not the billions Steve has put in them.)

Maybe playing Kawhi on b2b wasn’t a good idea. But since we barely got 4th seed was it worth it? Getting bounced again in the 1st round.
