Also keep in mind if the Rockets lose tonight then they are pushed closer to being the 4. If they win, they're closer to being the 3. Now look where our standing is: losing to them increases the odds we face them! If you want to face the Blazers, we need the Rockets to lose more games and us win more games...unless the Rockets can move into the 2 spot. Which doesn't seem likely to me. OMG it's very likely..have you checked their schedule? They have San Antonio, Portland twice, Utah and Minnesota left....We own the tiebreaker so we just need for them to lose twice and we control our destiny for the two seed.....

I had not checked the schedules much, beyond some SOS listings. But since you think the Clippers are the weakest playoff team (and you're wrong on that), why would you want to face San Antonio?

I don't care who we play in the 1st round because whoever it is will lose the series against us....especially at full strength...our bench is much deeper this year. Tonight you will get a 1st look at House Jr from our G-league team....I sure hope we can keep him for next year.. I just want to get that 2nd seed for sure....

Oh for fucks sake! Shit. I guess Doc is throwing the game like he did against the Bucks. That's frustrating but I guess he agrees with Htown that Houston will take 2nd seed? Bah! I wanted to win this game.

Beverley shot really bad the last two games. That probably played a role in him sitting tonight. He is just not right yet.

We can still win this game without Beverley. I’m glad he’s getting some rest. We’ll need him in a long series against Dame, Harden/Paul, Curry or Mitchell.

after a second thought, you would be referring to a singular opponent as an it, but teams should be referred to as “they”. Nice to see you back these past few days, @rhy1244. Why the long absences this season, if you don't mind me asking?

Casey Stern says that this might be his last time pitching the broadcast to Ralph Lawler, since he doesn't know if they'll be on NBA TV any more this season.

Who's the color commentator today? He says "I don't agree with his style" about Harden.
