I guess this one could belong to this thread as well: Paul George- “i’m on muthafuckas asses this year. i’m back with the trainer from my mvp season. i get an offseason to work on my game (and not rehab). i listen to kobe motivational quotes while i lift, while i work. i’m as locked in as you can be.”If you had such a successful season, wouldn't you stick with that trainer long term? Funny that you mentioned a trainer.
Today I heard a sports journalist talk about trainers.
He said players don't want to pay for them longterm. Players think the team should pay for them.
Teams don't want to pay for personal trainers.
So players end up getting rid of trainers, and then they are not in shape the same way, from year to year.
I think this journalist cited Harden as an example of someone that didn't always keep his best trainer.
Then they pointed out how LeBron has always taken fitness seriously, and has kept his trainer. So did Michael Jordan.

That one actually worked, he went from 40% to 60%. That's a 50% improvement. Not sure what planet you live on, but people down here on Earth consider that shitty. The planet is your head apparently, rent-free. (Good God! It took you 6 years to react? Hope your job in real life does not involve you having to be a first responder!)

I love when people respond to old posts. Whether it's because they just saw it, or just decided to respond now, either way, I like knowing what people are thinking.
Gives good insight on the current state of opinions different people have.

Gives good insight on the current state of opinions different people have. Good for you. Me, on the other hand, I find it annoying that someone responds to something I said six fucking years ago with an unpleasant “ what planet do you live on” opening. Especially when that humor-challenged someone is clueless that what I said six years ago, in context of the time, was clearly in jest. Makes me suspect he was high or drunk or both, and being aggressive and offensive in his mental state — that’s not endearing to me at all, and I don’t find it interesting in the least. Happy that you, at least, find it interesting.

Who has put on 15 lb of muscle, and who is in the best shape of their life, this season? Who is taking 500 shots a day, and who was in the worst shape of life? I never did get an answer as to what the general headlines are for the Clippers, during this training camp and preseason.
