So we just paid for the draft rights to Balša Koprivica, a 7-1 center. Probably doesn't mean anything, but my overactive brain immediately thought does this mean we really are moving Zu. THe new CBA kicked in today so it was the last day we were permitted to spend cash for anything. We spent it for those draft rights, purely to grab an asset before our right to spend expired. Probably will never be used.

I guess Moo Moo was right about Harden. Since Clippers have Westbrook and maybe Dame ends up in Miami, No where to move Harden.

Morey waited it out on the Simmons trade too so he's not in a hurry if he has the cards to play. If he's trying to get Lillard then I imagine he will move quickly.

Not Zubac! Damnit I knew it was coming. Said this yesterday I think that there was a flood of "trade Zu" posts all of a sudden. Bad idea. Plumlee is NOT as good as Zubac and Zu has continued to get better every year (which at his age usually doesn't happen at this pace).
A few morons on Twitter? Zu has been the 3rd most important player in the 213 area. Trading him would be an absolutey idiotic mistake.

In the #thisleague UNCUT podcast, Stein suggested that there’s a widespread belief around the NBA that Sixers guard James Harden will end up being traded to the Clippers. Haynes responded by noting that the Clippers have also been in touch with the Trail Blazers to inquire on Lillard, though he adds that L.A. seems unlikely to acquire Dame.

Brandon Boston Jr. could be the reason why James Harden has not been moved yet, per @thesteinline
"The 76ers front office has a trade deal in mind that the Clippers don’t agree with. Within that package is 2nd year guard Brandon Boston who the Clippers are refusing to give up”

I heard the exact same thing with the inclusion of Mann. Expirings only and Nopo…hold the line.

Evan Sidery: Daryl Morey hopes to convince James Harden to stay with the Sixers next season, per @wojespn: – Sixers would love to keep Harden next season. Morey believes his relationship with Harden could help change his current thoughts on returning. – Still talking to teams about a potential Harden trade, mainly the Clippers. – This process could play out all the way until training camp begins in September.

I honestly don’t want to wait until September for Harden. We have to many players under contract and need to make moves soon.
Westbrook/George/Kawhi/Morris Sr/Zu Bones/Mann/Batum/KMart/Plumlee Preston/BostonJr/Coffey/Kobe/Moussa Jordan Miller/RoCo

Maybe it's Philly's weird way of getting back at the Celtics, by owning Boston.

I doubt Boston is the main player that’s holding up this trade for Harden. It will be Powell, Morris Sr, Mann RoCo plus a couple of draft picks for Harden & Tucker

That's more likely. Perhaps also throw in Bones, Coffey and/or Boston. What did the Lakers give up for D'Angelo? That should be the guide here.

Clippers don’t want to wait until September. So I could see them trading for Harden very soon. Especially if they feel they can’t get Dame.
