Ha! Remember when CP3 went down with injury last season and we were like, "Yup, heard this story before."

Barring anything extreme, it's looking like Clips v. Rockets in round 1.

Bring on the Rockets.... we won’t blow a 3-1 lead this time. It better not be a 3-0 lead either. The Clippers went 5 straight years of losing series with a lead. 2013: 2-0 2014: 1-0 2015: 3-1 2016: 2-0 2017: 2-1 3-0 and 3-2 haven't been done yet by the Clippers.

What's to come back with, he's just shouting at people (and I didn't see you take him on directly either). You don't be clever with guys who do that, you tell them to calm their shit down or step outside until they can handle their drink better. Which Nuraman did. And he might not think "point taken" is an apology, but it obviously was. I think he's calmed his shit down, finally. Do you have any cheese to go with that whine? Nuraman addressed everyone including you not to type in capital letters (like you did as well) so I guess you had to calm down? It wasn't an apology either if you knew anything it was just an acknowledgement "Man to Man" that I heard him and understand. You respect people who give you respect. He didn't call me out of my name either. You try so hard to twist the truth man. I am not here to troll because there are so many things in life that are way more serious than a freaking basketball game. Lighten up young fella....let your hair down...kick yo feet up!! Clipps...I am all for the 1st round matchup....I keep saying you need superstars to win in the playoffs..... Regarding this, mistwell typed in large font capital letters, to show what you were doing. This is the post you're referring to: clippertalk.proboards.com/thread/287/espn-clippers-great-team-scare?page=2&scrollTo=4497That's not happening anymore, so I hope we can move on.

Better watch out Htown, we're only 2 games back in the loss column now with a head to head against you, be careful son. Yup I'm scared!!! 30 point lead!!LOL, yep you beat us, but the fact that it was March 27th and we were even discussing us catching you makes me pretty damn happy.

Fuck the blowout. I still want the Rockets in the 1st round. 1 bad game in the regular season doesn’t define our season. Mistwell: quit getting triggered and come up with a clever comeback instead of acting like the keyboard police. It’s obviously not working. (and I didn't see you take him on directly either) I'm not the one who's butthurt over here.

That's definitely our biggest downfall and unless you're 04 Pistons, you need a superstar or 2 to carry the team, especially on the road. The Blazers would definitely be the better match up for the Clippers.

Yup and that's great and it's a great feel good story. Rivers should get some votes for Coach of the year for the accomplishment. i remember how you guys roasted him for not being able to develop young talent and you really torched him for being the only coach in history to lose a series twice after being up 3-1. Wouldnt you admit he has done a great coaching job this year? Also looks like having added Jerry West has helped to make the future bright. You will get a moral victory should you have chance to play us in the 1st round though.....

Believe me I know...and to be honest you need at least two superstar capable players on your team to win it all....i believe that's been the issue with Harden...not enough talent with him but with CP3 i know he has a chance now. just have to stay healthy....I believe Harden has done more with less than any superstar in the league....

He was the leading vote getter for the All-Star game that year, which means fans at least saw him that way, with respect to All-Star votes. A few years later, when the Pistons had 4 All-Stars, they came in and shut down the Western Conference All-Stars. Ben Wallace had a few quick blocks on Garnett, etc. I don't think the Clippers biggest weakness is the lack of a superstar. When the Clippers lose games, it's usually because of defense, rebounding. They are 20th in DRTG. 19th in OREB %. 23rd in DREB %. They need more players that can do these things.

Others on this board had been much harder on him than I was coaching wise.

The Pelicans have had Jrue Holiday and Elfrid Payton, who get hurt frequently. They did also have Julius Randle, but Capela is better.

Barring anything extreme, it's looking like Clips v. Rockets in round 1. Not so sure yet. We could still fall to 7 since the Spurs have a super easy schedule and could own the tie breaker against us. I don't think OKC will catch us though. I think we finish at either 6 or 7. So we are looking at either Denver or Houston in the first round most likely.

Harden has been in the playoffs every year he has been in Houston. He's been to the WCF twice and oh yeah won the MVP. You mention Capela and Eric Gordon. Capela wouldn't be jack without Harden. Its Harden that is making Capela look good.. He makes his temmates better....Eric Gordon's best years have been with Harden and the rockets. Capela may be better than Randle today but Randle's ceiling is higher....Randle is already averaging this year 21.0 points a game and Capela's best is around 17.0 Davis only has one playoff series win in the 7 seasons in the league....he is a quitter to me as well and sold out New Orleans....I pretty much lost respect for him for that action....

Capela is a much better defender than Randle. And his offense isn't based on ISO moves like Randle. He compliments CP3 and Harden by getting baskets in the paint off set plays and offensive rebounds. Perfect player for that type of offense. Randle would never fit trying to do that. Capela definitely underrated. He should be an All Star based on everything he does. A Draymond Green type who can score.
