Couple great games last night. Was really fun seeing Hartenstein come through in the clutch with some big plays.
Hopefully Minny and Denver beat each other up, so that if we get to the WCF the other team is worn down. Those years we played Memphis in the first round, those games were extremely physical and whoever won the series had nothing left in the next round.

Lakers will bounce back for game 3. The whistle for sure will be in there favor.. I see them getting 33 FTA’s. Philly too That Philly/Knicks series giving me vibes on Clips/Grizz part 2 where Clips won games 1 & 2 at home and lost the next 4.

Devastating loss for the Lakers. I was hoping they'd push the Nuggets at least, but that loss seems like it'll be tough to come back from Devastating indeed because they had it after a couple of big shots by Lebron but I swear i just knew Denver was going to come back, they always do. They remind of those Warriors that kept pounding my Rockets, they always found a way to hit that big shot, get that extra rebound. As soon as Murray got the ball with game tied I knew it was over and I knew it was going to hurt. The 76ers are feeling that same kind of hurt too since they couldn't secure a defensive rebound. I was just saying the same thing to a friend. Things just go their way at the right time like those Warriors. That play where Jokic heaved the 3 and Gordon just outmuscled Reaves for the rebound that let to the Porter 3 is the play I feel the Warriors would always get when they needed it. They're a little more beatable than those Warriors, but nonetheless share those similarities. The scary thing for the Lakers is the Nuggets have been shooting it poorly so far too. I hope them vs the Wolves happen with both teams healthy. That team might match up the best with them.

I’d love to see a tough battle with Nuggs prevailing in 7. I like our chances against Denver… not as much against Wolves.

Those years we played Memphis in the first round, those games were extremely physical and whoever won the series had nothing left in the next round. I just can't look that far ahead. I still don't feel good about this series we're in right now.

This team could easily lose tonight and its a different series. Dallas could make the WCF too.

Regarding the Memphis series, in 2012, the Clippers faced the Spurs in the 2nd round. One of the greatest Spurs teams, as they were in the middle of a 20 game win streak (with 10 of those wins in the playoffs).
That Spurs team might not have won a title, but they were great, and much better than the Clippers. The Spurs swept the Clippers because they were better.
The Clippers might have had a chance in game 3, when they lead 11 - 33 and 16 - 40. But 15 minutes later, the Spurs took the lead for good. And the Clippers trailed by 13 at one point.
A 39 point turnaround.
In 2013, Memphis beat the Clippers, then beat the Thunder, so the first round series didn't have an impact.
And in general, with how many days off are in between games, I don't think getting worn out from a previous series, is a reason a team loses its next series. Especially how in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, one series will have 3 full days off. As they wait either for various series to catch up, or they skip the first Friday because the networks don't want to broadcast on a Friday.
For example, last year, the Heat vs. Knicks played game 2 on Tuesday, then game 3 on Saturday. This happens every year, that Tuesday - Saturday schedule for one of the series.
On top of that, one series may have 3 days off between games 6 and game 7. The Clippers had that Thursday-Monday schedule for games 6 and 7 of the Suns-Clippers 2006 series.
Spurs vs. Hornets in 2008 had the exact same Thursday-Monday game 6 and game 7 schedule in the 2nd round.
There are also plenty of teams that have needed 24, 25, or 26 games in a postseason to win a title.
I think dane put it best a few months ago, but for a different context: "The only advantage I want is if the Clippers have better players than the other team."
I think that's what it comes down to, often. Not this other stuff.
When the Celtics won their 2008 title, they needed 26 games. The Hawks taking them to 7 games in the first round didn't matter. When it was time to clinch the title, they beat the Lakers by 39 points and Rajon Rondo had 6 steals.

I was happy to see Suns go down. I am not a fan of the Suns, many of their fans, and Devin Booker.

Pacers take a 15-point 20-point lead half-way through the 4th.
