Oh *I* am interested in AD. I'm just saying that no, there are no reported proposals or people on the table in any way for AD. Not even a wiff of a rumor.

Was there a rumor of the Clippers trading Tobias? Not as such, but there were two articles talking about that possibility right before it happened, and that included LockedOn Clippers talking about it in their review of the Hornets game. Which is an...odd coincidence. Regardless, Tullabye asked, "Has this been reported as the Clipper offer or just speculation. I don’t want to include Harrell." And I was just answering his question. It's just speculation. No reports.

. Makes sense. I don’t think GMs want to be responsible for reviving the Lakers Evil Empire. The Pelicans especially don’t want to be the next team to get burned by the Lakers.

dang, that's cold. Magic and Rob must be dejectedly shaking their heads "everything was supposed to fall into place so easily after James came over". Jeannie Buss "I just want Luke treated kindly in all this guys". They might not even make the playoffs.
Wonder how the Clips will do tonight against the same Indy team Lakes lost by 42 to. Starting lineup if no one else gets traded? Bradley/SGA/BEV and a high/low game of GOR/Trez (Gortat's handles are just so off. Trez would do well with a Marc Gasol or something but who wouldnt)? Seems a bit offensively challenged now to say the least jeje. Lou will have to save every game from here on out.

Good on the Pelicans if they did the trade talks just to screw with the Lakers. I actually think they should wait because Ball does not want to play there and Ingram will be an RFA in one year. Plus, the Lakers don't have very many good draft picks. Pelicans demanded six number one picks. Not even sure how the Lakers could get that many picks. We can't trade our pick this year because we could still make the playoffs and then it would belong to the Celtics.
In retrospect Boban and Scott were definitely being showcased in the Lakers, Pistons, Raptors, and Hornets games to show Elton Brand that they could actually play and were not just salary dumps in the trade. And they both played pretty well in those games proving they have at least some value coming off the bench for the Sixers. So Doc must of known who was in the potential trade in advance. Tobias having a great game against the Hornets may be what sealed the deal. Apparently, Wilson Chandler is hurt right with a groin problem so who knows if he ever plays for us. The other two guys may be ready by the Boston game.

From Reddit, a Sixers fan gives his take on the three players we just received:
An Introduction to your New Guys
Just want to start off saying that I think this trade is extremely beneficial for both franchises. You guys get a great young prospect, picks and cap relief while we get an All-Star level talent who can push us over the top in the East (hopefully for years to come). I really think that this could be one of those rare win-win trades.
I'll start off with the role players:
Muscala: One of the most inconsistent players I've ever seen. Some nights He'll shoot 5/7 and be a menace defending the rim but other nights he can shoot 1/7 be a complete liability defensively and leave you wanting to tear your hair out.
Chandler: Started the season off extremely slowly as he was coming off an injury which seemed to affect his shooting but has slowly gotten better as the months have gone by. He's an extremely solid role player providing average to good defence shooting and rebounding. Shooting 39% from 3 on the year but seemed to get a lot of often undeserved flak from Sixers fan. Nothing spectacular but a good bench piece for the rest of the season.
Shamet: You are going to absolutely love this kid I can promise you that. Excellent shooter whether in the catch and shoot or running off screens. We had affectionately named him "mini JJ" for this very reason and also because he had been being mentored by Redick throughout the season. Shooting over 40% from 3 on 4.5 attempts per game and is only second to Doncic in threes made by rookies (in only 20 mpg). Is deceptively athletic and has shown ability to get to and finish at the rim, becoming consistent with his finishing along with his defence is what I believe will be key to how good he becomes. His defence is below average but he has shown good defensive tendencies and it has definitely improved as the season has gone on. Won't ever be great but could become an average defender at the very least. Also flashed some playmaking ability in some games though as he is used mostly off-ball, we haven't seen too much of it. Has plenty of room to grow and some of us really think he could be a future all-star.

Chandler and Muscala are not in our future plans, they are just salary matching filler.

NO believes that the Lakers tampered with Davis so they weren't very happy about that.

We may be better off going after the UFAs then we are trying to trade for AD. I mean it will weaken our team badly if we have to give up all our young players and draft picks in a trade. If we could get Kawhi and another guy without giving up any assets at all we could be better off. Key question is does Durant continue to want to play with the Warriors with Draymond and his salary demands. Or does Klay. Most likely they keep everybody happy but they could implode if they lose in the playoffs. We should be hoping they have a major injury, lose in the playoffs, and have disgruntled stars wanting to leave the team.

Guys, I don't want to round and round and round but I'll add this. (1) of course the Clippers would want AD in a trade. That's a no-brainer. (2) If you're comparing draft picks or discussing draft picks, it's a bit of a homer move to say '2 or whatever, 'first-round' draft picks. A first round draft pick could be 1, it could be 29. The difference between those two is massive. Let's dissect our draft picks objectively, if we can:
The 2020 Philly first round pick, I believe will be a low first round pick. Next year they'll have Embid, Simmons and either Tobias or Butler, maybe both. I'd put that pick right now at anywhere between 23 and 27. That's not a great pick. It's not a great value.
The 2021 Miami pick: This pick is a wild card. It could be 1, it could be 30. Where will Miami finish in 2020? Who knows, but based on their talent, their willingness to have a high payroll and other teams in the league who have a far bleaker future, my guess is this pick will end up anywhere between 8-20. That's a wide range. Let's say it ends at 10. That's a nice pick. It's not an outstanding pick.
Our own 2019 pick. This is just me, but I don't view this pick as a result of maneuvering that deserves back slapping. We got ourselves into this mess of potentially losing the pick in the first place. In any case, my guess is it will be between 10-15 if we get it, which I think we will, probably around 12.
And we have Shai to deal, which I'd like not to. Jerome Robinson has been a disappointment, albeit in limited time. There are times when he's on the court for 12 minutes in a game and touches the ball three times.
If you take off the Clipper glasses, I'd suspect that Shai's value is equal to Ball and Ingram, slightly less than Kuzma. The four of them are all in the same ball park right now in value.
But no, in terms of a trade for AD, I do not think we have better assets than the Lakers. I know it's nice to say 'but people don't like the Lakers'. At the end of the day, teams will do what's best for them and players will do what's best for them.
